I hope that your day has been going well so far!
I am currently letting out a grateful side of relief because the power was able to finally come back on for my dad's house. I got the urge to do a happy dance and ended up pulling up Sing A Song by Earth wind & fire lol
I lovingly blame my dad for helping me have a good taste of music because he has been able to show me a wide variety and always encouraged me to keep an open mind when it comes to music and life
And since Earth wind & fire is one of his favorite groups, my dad also ended up pulling up the song and we basically had a long distance happy groove party! ❤️

Esp after the power went out- that must have been hard at your dad's house- And "Sing A Song" is just such a good one to dance too 🥺 I'm so glad your dad got you into good music~ And encouraged you to love and keep an open mind when it came to music and life! I actually have a few- but on Saturday when my dad left for a car show- I kept singing "Monkberry Moon Delight" cause they were talking about mulberry bushes on the tv- and she didn't know the song- and I was confused cause her fav beatle is paul- and so I got to show her- And then I got to show her my favorite track currently by him which is "Kiss of Venus" featuring Dominic Fike. And she got to show me her favorite- "Figures of Eight" by him. She had seen him in '91 with my dad- and he got her that cd it's off of at the concert. And she used to play that song over and over and over on that little cd- bumping in her tiny car (a ford escort)- Make the poor car's windows rattle- and it's so cute because I grew to be just like her when my favorite songs play- I have em up- She raised me to enjoy music to the fullest-
And I had taken her to see Monsta x- and she told me- 'Paul and Monsta X are the only two concerts I thoroughly enjoyed myself at' and idk it was just endearing to me that she holds mx up to the height of Sir Paul McCartney hehe
Also, fun little rabbit hole cause I cannot resist myself: But if it wasn't for Changkyun getting me into Dominic Fike- three yrs ago almost (I just checked on my youtube history). I would never have had tiktok suggesting to me the "Babydoll" cover The Boyz did in January- (I had loved them before during different cbs but that was nothing in comparison to now). And thus, I get to connect it back to Paul Mccartney now~ because one day I was listening to a Fike song called "The Kiss of Venus," and I kept thinking "why does this sound like a beatle song??" and I checked and it was featuring Paulie~ And I gasped- so thus- in a way- The Boyz are one person away from the beatles hehe~ So, it all connects~ (Changkyun was the catalyst to an inevitable fall)
